How Custom Print and Reorder Programs Work
From product fit to repeat orders: specification confirmation, sampling, custom print setup and the reorder loop for packaging buyers.

Most packaging relationships fail not on product quality but on process: specs that drift between orders, print that looks different on the second production run, or reorder lead times nobody planned for. A well-run custom print and reorder program prevents all three. Here is the working model we use with distributors and foodservice buyers.
Step one: lock the specification
Start with the application - the dishes, temperatures and shelf life the pack must survive. From there, confirm each specification that matters: size and capacity, board structure, coating, lid type, print coverage and packing format. Writing these down before sampling is what makes everything after them comparable.
Step two: sample with your real food
Samples exist to answer questions a spec sheet cannot: Does the 750ml look right for your rice portion? Does the clear lid fog up on hot dishes? Does the pack survive your delivery radius? Run samples through an actual service shift, then adjust the specification once - and only once - before moving to print.
Step three: set up custom print
Custom print turns the pack into brand media. Logo placement, ink coverage and print area are confirmed against the approved sample, and the print specification is recorded with the product spec so the two travel together. Artwork files are checked for the print process before production, so what you approved is what the line produces.
Step four: the approved recipe
Once samples and print are approved, the full recipe - product specification, print setup and packing format - is locked as the reference for every future order. This is the document that makes your tenth order identical to your first, regardless of who manages the purchase on your side.
Step five: plan the reorder loop
Reorders run smoothly when they are planned, not reactive. Minimum order quantity, lead time and print setup are confirmed per project with your sales contact, and the approved recipe lets each reorder start from confirmation rather than from scratch. Share your destination market and required-on-site dates, and the reorder schedule can be mapped against production slots in advance.
What we need from you to start
Three inputs get a program moving: your menu application, your target sizes and quantities, and your destination market with compliance needs. Send those and we will come back with a specification proposal, sample plan and print options - the first three steps of the loop above, in one pass.
